2004 Forest Fire

We have gathered a number of photos of this forest fire that disrupted our township in early May, 2004.

Fire-fighters and volunteers worked long hours to contain the fire. All types of machines and equipment were utilized. The fire continued into the night, and in the morning evidence of it’s path was easy to spot.

Though this fire was of natural causes, as you view these photos, let us all remember to do our part to prevent another forest fire.
